EVENT CANCELLATION
In the event that the Event course is, in the opinion of the event organisers, unsafe (e.g. heavy rain, high winds, bushfires, "acts of god" etc), or at the direction of the QPWS, QFRS, Gold Coast City Council, Scenic Rim Shire Council, Tweed Shire Council or the Qld Department of Health or in accordance with any Queensland Government directives, or any other relevant authority, organisers may be required to postpone or cancel the event.
Every attempt will be made to reschedule. Should a participant be unable to make the rescheduled date or no suitable date be available (due to venue unavailability, clashes with other events, land owner changes, etc); then all participants shall automatically be re-allocated to the Virtual option AND refunded 25% of their entry. Finisher medals and race gifts will be mailed to competitors who complete the event and post their result online.
There is a Facebook group; Coastal High 50 Discussion Group that can be quite useful when seeking or selling entries!
In the event that Covid-19 Government Health restrictions or other foreseen circumstances (fire, flood, etc.), necessitate a postponement; the race shall be rescheduled. Should you not be able to attend; you will be offered the choice of a 50% refund and transfer to a virtual run (complete with all the goodies) OR a deferment valid for the following two years (less an admin fee of $50 - you will receive your event shirt for this year).
